100% satisfaction from our course delegates!

May 28th, 2013 by iMindMap

With the busy month of May coming to an end, now is the time to reflect on the two ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructor Courses which have taken place this month in Bangkok, Thailand and Henley, UK! Here you’ll gain an insight into what went on and hear from the delegates themselves on what they thought of the course.

Kicking off the month off in style, our ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructor Course was held at the luxurious Sukhothai Hotel in the heart of Bangkok. Tony Buzan welcomed the delegates with an introduction to the world renowned technique of Mind Mapping, which he not only created but used to form the foundations of his extraordinary life.
“The course is more than just Mind Mapping content, it’s the energy and the extra personal experiences shared that added so much value and insight.’’
– Choyyin Chun, Director of Learning International Forum
The delegates received expert training from Tony Buzan and the ThinkBuzan team and had the opportunity to try, test and demonstrate their way through Mind Mapping, the GRASP thinking modes, the Solution Finder, and creative tools such as our latest software, iMindMap 10.
What did the course delegates think?
  • 100% were highly satisfied with the course content and trainers!
  • 100% agreed that the course is value for money!
  • 100% strongly agreed that the skills they learnt are helpful in their profession!
“I am a trainer and a teacher and I can distinguish between those who teach and those who teach passionately. Tony Buzan and the ThinkBuzan team were very passionate and they unlocked the hidden potential in my brain. I strongly recommend this course and I will continue to share the skills which I learnt.”
– Ade Julius Rizky, Founder of Easy Smart Learning Training
Following the success of the course in Bangkok, Tony Buzan jetted straight back to the UK, ready to start the ThinkBuzan Licensed Instructor Course in Tony’s hometown, Henley, UK.
The course was held at the picturesque Phyllis Court Members Club and in just a few days, the delegates pushed their creative limits and learnt the latest techniques from Tony Buzan himself. They also learnt the complete spectrum of tips and shortcuts in iMindMap, mastered Mind Mapping fundamentals and became juggling professionals, all in a jam packed 4 days!
100% of the delegates…
agreed that the skills learnt would be beneficial in their profession!
‘Mind opening, thought provoking and inspirational.’
 Marco Ossani, Marketing Consultant
‘It was the best course I have ever attended and I am already using elements of the methodology at work.’
– Kari Greaves, Guinness South
"21st Century Kids needs a revolutionized system of education, to revolutionize education we need to train the brain, to train the brain we need MindMap."
- Md. Nasir Khan
“The best course ever. So inspiring thinking of thinking! Special thanks to Tony and Owen as I have never enjoyed sitting in a conference room as much as I did in Henley!
– Maria Metsola, Founder of Extra Buxum Training

7 ways to use iMindMap as a teacher

www.thinkbuzan.com December 2nd, 2014 by iMindMap Teaching effectively centres around the ability to plan and deliver effective, engaging lessons throughout the entire school year. As a teacher, we know that time is often in short supply, and so here are seven ways in which  iMindMap  can help you find a little bit more of it, by improving your lesson planning, preparation and delivery. 1. Curriculum Planning Mind Mapping your curriculum plans can save you time, as well as vastly improve the structure and clarity of your teaching. Having a visual overview of your plan will also allow you to easily spot the gaps where you have forgotten something, ensuring you have everything covered. A good place to start is by brainstorming ideas. With iMindMap’s  Brainstorm View* , you can add everything about a topic to the infinite cork-board canvas. Type away on the coloured sticky notes and group your ideas together. When you have finished, select the Mind Map Vie...

Mind Mapping for Memory: Why is it useful?

April 29th, 2013 by iMindMap In this guest post, Thomas Jones, a Psychology student who spent some time working with us at the ThinkBuzan Headquarters, applies his know-how to Mind Mapping and the cognitive processes and theories behind the technique… Mind mapping is one of the most powerful tools in anyone’s arsenal when it comes to remembering vast quantities of information; it provides the user with their own personal tree of knowledge on a subject of their choice. Semantic Network Model One of the ideas behind Mind Maps is Semantic Network Models (Collins & Quillian, 1969) which says that everyone has their own personal spider’s web, connecting everything they know about objects together, e.g. Red is connected to fire, blood, love. If one section of the networking models is activated, the surrounding links are activated. Our own personal experiences shape these connections and everybody’s semantic network models are different. Mind Mapping takes a certain subject an...
